Kaechii showed alot of promise and he started training at a very young age, Draegon saw this and watched him closely. Kaechii defeated the head of the Guards when he was only 16. This shocked Draegon and he offered Kaechii a deal, That Draegon would find him the best trainers to train him. The head of the Guard quit since he was embarassed and the tauntings continued. Kaechii now stands in his place and he hasn't been defeated since.

Kaechii was there when Draegon told him to bring several guards to see Corbin train. He wanted to show off his new son and the power his son had. Corbin caused a villain, Cyril Valkin (Murdered Corbin's father, Jarred) to explode. Then, needing to go away on business, Kaechii was given to Corbin (literally.. as a toy.) before Draegon left.

Even though Kaechii wasn't around Corbin all his life, Corbin was quick to treat Kaechii as a friend as Kaechii continued to serve Emperor Draegon.

There was a period in which Kaechii lost his job as head guard as did Draegon lose his place as Emperor when Draegon's father reclaimed the throne but once Jaethore retired for the last time, Kaechii found himself back in position.

He married Sharee and they had kids but while the years passed, They had a divorce. Even though it was bitter, they learned to accept each other as friends and moved on.
